Glen had been out to Computer City this afternoon and was on his way back when he passed by some sort of incident. Apparently, there were a bunch of people and policemen around. He’d slowed down to work out what might’ve happened when someone on a scooter came past and turned the corner only to slide over because the road was wet (the water truck must’ve been along). Been there, done that, and it’s not fun, although Glen thought it was hilarious as did the policemen.
He got off his bike to see whether the guy was all right, but turned around to see someone filching his bag and trying to ride off. Fortunately, the culprit was in high gear which meant his progress was glacial and Glen had no problem catching the miscreant and recovering his bag. The police, on the other had, seem to have thought the whole thing was little more than entertainment. Whatever happened to arbitrary arrests and police brutality?
